For the clear tube I took some new clear tubing and just slit it. Any
place where the wiring is not seen but the wires still need protection I
used the corrugated stuff like on cars instead.
And where there was lacing on the wires that I redid I sure as heck
didn't pay $65 for a roll of waxed "thread" LOL!!!
Nomenclature is everything.....
In the world of electronics it's "Lacing Cord" in the world of leather
work its called "Thread"
The waxed and synthetic "lacing cord" you buy at mouser or similar
electronics places is about $12 and called "thread" from a leather goods
supplier!! And they have several diameters and you can get it round,
flat, waxed, synthetic and lovely assorted colors too! Been using it on
aircraft wiring for years!
And when you talk to a leather goods place DON'T EVER ASK for "LACING
CORD" because leather lacing cord is like the size of a shoe lace, Again
"nomenclature"... you want "thread"
