Well ... I had a one-time opportunity to get it picked up, so I did.
It's a gorgeous little teleprinter, and everything basically seems to
work. It came with no documentation, though, and I haven't yet figured
out how to get it out of the lower half of the case. (There are two
promising screws, but I haven't tried to remove them, and I suspect
it's not that easy.) It has a DB-25 female connector on the rear
labeled "PRL OUTPUT/RS-232/DGTL" (or something similar), but jumping
pin 2 to 3 does not seem to cause it to go into loopback. It does,
however, work fine if put in half duplex, and the keyboard prints to
the paper.

I've been unable to find manuals (and it didn't come with any), so I'm
not sure aobut the connector pinouts. It also states in a brochure
that it came with that it will take standard 8.5" friction feed paper,
and it will, but the tractor feed rollers damage the edges of the
sheet -- they're much closer together than standard letter tractor
feed paper with 9.5" total width.

If anyone has manuals or documentation, or knows where to find tractor
feed paper that's somewhat narrower than standard printer paper, or
knows anything about the connector pinouts, I'd love to hear from you.

I'll be documenting what I figure out, as I figure it out, in the
meantime.

Ethan
