That's a shame.  The background sound provided an almost subliminal 
indication that I was listening to the right station.  I would have to 
agree, however, that most people born after 1990 would have no idea what 
that sound was.

On the other hand, every time the eBay app posts a message on my phone, 
it makes a "ka-ching" sound.  How many people these days ever even heard 
a cash register go "ka-ching?"
