Teletype Corp made a compatible machine. It was known as the Model 17.
Its original purpose was to be a mobile printer because it is such a 
simple printing mechanism (the original dot-matrix printer).  But I 
think most of the M17 units were used to monitor German Hell 
transmissions during WWII. (Although Teletype Corp did make a Hell 
transmitter that converted a 5-bit Baudot tape to Hell format)
