[GreenKeys] Seeking Tape Winder

The handiest tape rewinder I ever used was many moons ago when using a
Varian 620 minicomputer with high-speed tape punch and reader. I don't know
whether it was store-bought or fabricated by someone in the lab.
It was basically a K+E handheld electric eraser (MOTORASER) with a reel
instead of an eraser. Well actually just half a reel IIRC.
Anyway, after the tape had run through the reader, you just tucked the end
into the reel hub and held down the "go" button while using your other hand
to guide the tape. It slurped up the tape quickly and easily.
This was with fully punched tape. Half a reel (like a platter) was OK
because you could just hold it at a 45-degree angle while rewinding and
guiding the tape. And then you could just lift the roll of tape off the
platter easily
I made one to use now, but all my reperfs are chadless and the tape more
difficult to wind - I used a regular reel which I have to unfasten to
remove one side.

Search for MOTORASER on eBay.
