So I did a search for the manual and got the following link:

Then later I found this product review for TU-300/TU-470

 From the review I gathered that the 470 included all the options 
available for the 300 and maybe some extras?

Which led to a product review in April of 1980 issue of QST of a TR-128 
(Baud Rate Converter).

And then a product review of the TU-170 in the March 1979 issue of QST.

And then there was a blog entry that says the Heathkit HD3030 is the 
same as the TU-470.
