Hi everyone,
I have been hanging around the list for a while. Been away from RTTY for decades and I truly appreciate your responses to my calls for help over the past few months.
Before all the craziness I was able (thanks to ITTY!) to get a Model 15 and CV-483 running at the home of a friend (my wife and the downstairs neighbors did not appreciate it on the dining room table). Now it sits at his place, so I can kiss it goodbye for a while.
Because I am new to the list, I would like to pin down my understanding of do’s and don’t’s, specifically...
1) What’s the polite way to put up photos? I really appreciate seeing photos that members post from time to time, and I notice nobody goes wild with it. I don’t want to hog server space, but I don’t have a website and I would like to share pictures from time to time. Of course, small file size is good, big is bad.
2) Same question for files... are downloadable files and documents OK? Once again keeping in mind file size.
3) Any other newbie mistakes I should be aware of?
Thanks,
Ken Kinderman
