Wasn't being critical Daniel, just trying to interject a little fun, thus the 'smiley' face. I guess that was my way of trying to relieve a little cabin fever.
The vast majority of the current RTTY enthusiasts today use only computers and are not willing to spend much time with a guy on a real piece of heavy metal. Al that want is your call sign and a 59 and then they are gone. I got a friend's 28ASR running a few years ago and the first time he tried to get it on the air he was typing a series of RYRYs and he had some come back and say to him, "Hey dude, we don't do that anymore."
I'm using an ST-5 at the moment so I'm pretty much locked in on the 170 shift. Otherwise maybe we could try a QSO.

I probably should have been more clear lol.
I was hoping to transmit and receive with my CV-2460 and TT-307/UG (M28). The mistake I made was not setting up a backup plan in case of a failure. My CV-2460 would not decode but my CV-483 would. Leaving me with only Receive capabilities.
My backup plan was the computer which I never set up for RTTY.
