Subject: [GreenKeys] Long-shot request (Looking for old versions of ACP 113)
Evening all,
I've got a pretty long shot request here, as the subject line says.
I'm doing a small research project into old submarines, one particular
detail I'm looking for is finding the call signs of some of the older
submarines of the RN and RAN.
So, getting to the point: Does anyone have a copy of ACP 113 "Call
Sign Book for Ships" from the late 60s, and the late 80s? That or some
method of finding out what a vessels call sign was?
The information I'm seeking in regards to call signs, is what call
signs belonged to the UK's Porpoise-class subs (hence the need for a
book from the late-60s), and the RAN's Oberon-class boats (the one
from the 80s). (I've found information on what the RN's, and RCN's
O-boats used for call signs).
Best regards,
Christian
