Hello friends,

Tomorrow I'll be hauling my machines over to the Thanksgiving Point Mini Maker Faire in Utah again (I made an ad for the show featuring my Model 19 here <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQooZPpsVPY>). Visitors will be getting free teletype art and will be able to send email and SMS to one of the machines. Feel free to shoot over an email to tty at nerdology.org or a text message to 385-434-3883 between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM Mountain Time on September 21 (tomorrow). I won't be able to respond during the show, but visitors will see your message printed out amongst their own.

I've printed out more art than I ever have before (video here <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g8n5JB7l3IA>) because it goes fast at these faires (using carbon paper to triple my output!). I might need to start charging $1.00 for it or something to help reduce demand with such limited supply.

I'll also be giving a presentation on stage about the machines, the history behind them, how I got them working with the modern internet, and so on at 3:00. I'm going to try and have it recorded so I can post it later.

My AN/UGC-74B will also be copying weather and news throughout the day (I still don't have ITTY set up for it yet, but what I have works in a pinch). Additionally, I'll have a telegraph copying the text messages people send the Model 19, sounding them out in American Morse as the 19 prints them.

I wish I could have gotten my Model 14 tape printers running, but I just didn't have enough time. Next time.

Pictures/videos/write-up to follow. If I can ever carve out time to actually do it.

73,

-
