We have been running it about three days a week for the last 20 years so I
think it is more than "luck"....
... I suspect that the lack of problems are down to continual use.

I also think that the caps you find in commercial equipment are rather
better specified than those in commercial equipment.
How many on here have old tube equipment that they haven't re-capped?
