Well - loop open = no current flow.

            loop closed = 60 mA current, well above the minimum 
regulating current of the Device.

But hey! For $2, buy a few of 'em and check it out.  Maybe some cheesy 
little heat sink, but a quick perusal of the data sheet will tell you 
what the thermal regime is at 60 milliamperes. To me, at full marking 
and, say 110VDC, the device should require only a small sink to be 
completely safe...


That's my 200 millidollar...
