If you want to cite lab studies and college engineering classroom activities, get a job teaching. 

Us hams are the people who use the 'end result' of the Lab and Engineering classroom discoveries 
so we don't need to concern ourselves with such things. I'm not saying they don't exist, just that 
what DOES exist is of little or no consequence to us 'in the field', actually doing things of use 
and personal interest.
