There have been a few questions on this manufacturing venture, so I'll send more details publicly to hopefully answer most of them, and then I'll answer anything else privately.
Back in April I started the process of manufacturing a run of Eric Volpe's USB to TTY interface board. It allows you to connect a computer to a current loop. It supports 20ma and 60ma loops. Out of the box it supports ITA2 (5-bit) machines and ASCII (7-bit) machines, though you could customize some configurations to do other encodings if needed. It also supports any baud rate from 45 baud up to at least 1200 baud (these haven't all been thoroughly tested, but they should work).
Basically it enables your computer to act like a teletype on a current loop-- sending and receiving text.
It's very versatile; I've loved working with these boards.
I was able to manufacture them for $35 each (including shipping to the continental U.S.). I still have some available for those interested. This includes the fully manufactured board preprogrammed to work out of the box.
More technical details are available at Eric's site here <https://heepy.net/index.php/USB-teletype>. I am also creating additional documentation and help videos to supplement this-- a link will be shared soon.

If you didn't, please check your spam and let me know if it's not even there-- it seems there may have been a few of you whose inboxes somehow ate some of my previous messages.
