A test message will be transmitted at the previously defined address (http://tty.nerdology.org:8000/livetty) approximately every 15 minutes from now leading up to the broadcast for you to ensure your equipment is tuned accordingly. This is new to both you and me, and I'm using an unusual mark/space frequency. If it was't clear, 1313 was chosen due to 13's association with all things odd and macabre to keep with the tradition of the holiday-- just a small detail to enhance today's experience purely for fun, though I fear it may be causing more angst than it is worth.

I'm glad to receive any feedback to improve future broadcasts as I am clearly out of my league when it comes to radio and RTTY. And probably everything else.

Having worked in IT for years before I started dabbling in AFSK, I naturally think in measures of MHz and GHz and absentmindedly used MHz here.

The broadcast will be between three and four hours long, but there will be breaks of radio silence in between many segments. Therefore, for heavy metal users, it is recommended to use an autostart feature if your equipment supports it.

Mark frequency will appropriately be 1313.00 Mhz, 170 Mhz shift.
