[GreenKeys] Model 26 feed issues - carriage shifting

I can't see what is going on well enough from the video. I
assume the paper is not feeding correctly. On a typewriter this
could be caused by a couple of things, one is the paper slipping
in the feed rollers but you seem to have addressed that. BTW, I
would use rubber belt dressing rather than brake fluid.
I don't know how the platen it turned in the Model 26 but,
again, if its like a typewriter there is a ratchet gear on one
end which has a stop pawl. If the gear is slipping on the shaft
of the platen or if there is play in the pawl it will cause the
roller to wander a bit. You should be able to feel this by trying
to move the platen with your fingers. I wonder how the line feed
is accomplished in the 26, presumably there is a solenoid which
causes the roller to turn. Perhaps there is a problem with the
linkage from solenoid (if there is one) to the roller.
Just some thoughts based on having worked on typewriters,
maybe not applicable to the Teletype machine.
