The video shows it best - I can't make heads or tails of it.

While the typing is running across the first line it's perfect, then it'll either drop or raise the next couple letters, and continue across.

This causes overstriking or understanding. I thought maube it was the platten so I tried the break fluid rub down but it doesn't seem to help, the paper isn't so much slipping as the pattern itself raising and lowering at random!

Any help/ ideas??
