Sorry for the bit O/T question, but its radio related at least.
I am setting up a remote station at a property we own, 12 volts is the
power of choice with batteries and I have a small 900 watt inverter
generator for charging them. I have two two chargers one about 20 amps max
and the other 40. Problem is that both generators trip the breaker of the
genny at startup or turn on.  If I can get one charger past turn on, it
works fine.
I want to try an inrush limiter but I do not understand their ratings. Do I
rate them to the power of the generator ie about 8 amps, or to the power
draw of the chargers, ie 3-4 amps.Or should it be another value? Same
question about the resistance values of the inrush devices  (NTC)
