[GreenKeys] M19 on eBay - Lansing Michigan area

I have heard that some sellers use reserve listings to get an idea of what something is worth. I don’t like these listings either, but I prefer them over listings with ridiculous amounts like $5000 as a listing price. We have seen those listings before. At least with a reserve we can bid, the seller can see what it’s worth, and leave it at that.

A seller who lists a Teletype for $5000 has no idea what it is worth because he gets no bids. If he lists it low and the bids go to $100, he has hopefully learned something.

What I hate is when someone re-lists a second time again with a reserve. That crosses a line for me.

Sellers sometimes lower the reserve just before the auction ends, so it is worth bidding if interested.

I’m glad Nick reported it here.
