Hi Al,

I’ve been to your fantastic museum several times when attending VCF East. I remember that teletype and then I noticed when it was gone. 

Beyond your testing phase: Given that you are a radio technology museum, I believe ITTY would be a good choice to consider for eventual display because it is closest to the technology of the period: FSK coming from real terminal units “broadcast” over the internet. If you can get a Terminal Unit to receive it, then you will be displaying a comm system rather than just a teletype. A Terminal Unit with a tuning scope would add visual appeal to your visitors as well. If you want to go this route I will give you a raspberry PI already set up like I did for Duncan, or you can use your existing raspberry PI and just receive the stream and send it to your TU.  You could even put a speaker in the display that a visitor could turn on to actually hear the transmission tones.
