Don, your ISP is blocking my messages claiming it can't resolve my address with the same server. Just FYI.

Subject: [GreenKeys] Whither 28ASR?

I am new to this group. I am a former 'Green Keys' (RTTY, Models 26, 19, 28ASR) op.

I am looking for a working 28ASR, in the Southern California area where I live. Perhaps there is someone in this area who wants to part with a working model 28ASR? Years ago I literally threw away my beautiful '28, and I have regretted it ever since.

I also have another question for the group and that is: Is there any 'real QSO's' (ie, non-contest) HF RTTY activity these days? I am a CW op myself (and strictly a ragchewer), and my hope is that there is some RTTY activity around for conversational guys like me. This would make acquiring a 28ASR worthwhile for me. I've called CQ for hours on end using FEC Amtor and RTTY, with no response except for a rare Amtor ARQ QSO once in a while. I'm always looking for more Amtor or RTTY QSO's.

Thanks in advance for any info out there,

   73,
       Don, W6JL
       Fallbrook, Calif.
