Many TG-7, 7-A and 7-B's will have an AC or a DC governed motor. Take it as
indicative of the type and size unit that they were assigned to. Smaller
units generally had smaller generators with less effective governors and
quite often no frequency meter built into them.

I searched for Army Teletype 2 different ones came up.
Both are good for a laugh . Not much difference in the price, but one is
in another country and about $ 300 shipping. Seemed to have a governor type
motor.
