I wrote to Wayne directly, but for the sake of the mailing list, a few
minutes with a strong light and an angled mirror, and I managed to find
the H plate wedged under the call control unit, stuck to some goo
composed of what seems like a combination of lubricating oil and the
remnants of the foam pad.

My primary challenge at the moment is figuring out how to reinstall the
H plate.  Any tips, tricks or youtube videos would be welcome! ;-)
