[GreenKeys] Ribbon reversing

    You may be able to get rivets from one of the regular 
suppliers of ribbons, worth at least an e-mail. I also suspect a 
staple put through the ribbon would work but never tried it. It 
needs to be something that will not go through the slot on the 
reverser but also not get stuck in it. Maybe a fold of ribbon 
with a staple. Your idea of tape might work, a fold of Scotch 
tape folded over the ribbon so its thick enough to work and won't 
work itself off.
