In Hawaii i was connected to the Navy TTY center on a balanced line and it was at least 2 miles. We both were using ASR28 machines if that makes any difference. Worked FB

There is nothing that warms the heart so, as gazing at your dog, who is sleeping on the couch, mentioning his name, and hearing thud-thud-thud as his tail hits the cushions.

In high school, I ran a single wire loop against ground for more than a
mile with 60mA loop current. This is really pretty low speed.

Hi all,
How long can a local loop be? Would a pair of TTYs work at a mile apart
with twisted pair wire? Or would one need to start thinking about using a
polar relay and dual current for mark and space? What would the circuit
look like? At that distance (mile +), does one need to think about open
wire and insulators?
Thank you again!
Best,
Joe
Consciousness affects the medium. Think happy, be happy, and happiness
