I just deleted my green-keys membership and then re-upped in order to see if this fixes my ability to post on the list.
As some of you may have seen from responses to my direct e-mail to some list members, I have 2 BRPE punches formerly used by Jackson Typesetting, in Jackson, Michigan, acquired through Dan Foust. Here's a photo of one:

As a result, I have some 7/8 inch wide tape that I'll never use. If someone needs it, tell me and I'll send what I have (not much). The old tape looks a bit brown with age, but seems basically sound.
And the, to the back side of the punches, connectors are a bit of a problem:

The 3-pin twist-lock female plug for 110V power is, according to Nick England, a Hubbell HBL7484 Midget Twist Lock, which is a NEMA ML-3R, sometimes available on ebay. Dan Foust says that there's a pile of BRPE punch junk that might include connectors. This is definitely something worth mining.
Some sites have manuals without the schematics, but this one has everything:

Apparently, oiled paper tape is a must for these machines, as with all other Teletype-branded paper-tape equipment.
But a final question: What does BRPE stand for?
