[GreenKeys] 28 stock ticker?

Attached are two picture of the 900 stock ticker that I had. It started life
as a Trans-Lux machine and had a slack tape control. (The Trans-Lux machines
were a variant of the regular stock ticker. They printed on clear cellophane
tape instead of paper. The tape was run through an optical system and the
printed characters were projected on a screen.) I removed the slack tape
control and ordered a new cover from Teletype. Several other parts were
replaced and I ended up with this beauty. Front labels were available that
said either "New York Stock Exchange" or "Western Union." The Teletype
nomenclature on the mechanism is LP112TE making it part of the Model 28 line.
The ticker was sold some time ago.

>I always assumed a newer stock ticker from Teletype would be based on the 28 tape printer. I was wrong. Looking at http://www.navy-radio.com/manuals/tty/jh/bsps/bsp/570series/573-140-100TC.pdf, I discover a different approach.. It's a 6 level 135 baud device the uses a type box instead of the wheel like on a normal tape printer. Also it types on 1" tape. Of course it has fractions as well as some other special charters.
