A large thanks to the folks who pointed me toward the correct data - 
there's a lot out there and I missed those links, even though I 
downloaded other info from those pages.

So after a few more tweaks, light oil and lithium grease - the machine 
is printing reliably in local mode.  Now I'm getting my HAL ST 6000 and 
5000 up and running - both have electronic issues that I've traced and 
need to fix.

In the meantime - the particular machine I have just brought back to 
life happens to have the type basket with the fractions and a 'blank' 
pallet. This is a lot of fun - for about 42.6 seconds.

If anyone is in need of such a type basket, I would love to trade this 
one for the "commercial" basket.  I've tried a bit to find part numbers 
of the pallet set as a whole but I'm still looking. The transmitter 
keytops are the usual commercial ones.

I would also be happy to buy such a device.   In either case shipping 
would be on me, and I'm an obsessive packer of delicate gear.
