It has been an increasing problem this year with some older domains like aol and such.  Some times I think just delayed mail causes it for some people, probably intermittently.  Maybe that is what happened to you.
All I know is that there is nothing I can do to tweak greenkeys to change it.  The underlying mailman system, and running (what should really be a forum) on an email system, is all pretty old stuff.
If a bounced account is brought to my attention, I can re-enable the account, but it could go out again and I have no way to predict or prevent that.
