Just to add my 2 cents -

You would need 3 different gear sets for an ASR.
Printer, reperf and the TD.

I am not the 28 guy here, but most are 60, 75, or 100 WPM.  If there is a dial then a possibility of 66 WPM.  Just listen to it running open.  If it seems slow its 60, fast-100.  Not too many 75 around.  They were used mostly for WX as I recall.
