That is correct except that the year is the US Federal Fiscal Year, not the
calendar year.  From sometime in the 2nd Roosevelt Administration = until
the Reagan Administration the Fiscal Year began on 01 July of the previous
calendar year.  So 62 means from 01 Jul 1961 to 30 JUN 1962.

A piece of data, in case you didn't know... the last two digits of the =
order number is the year the contract was let by the Army. The machine = and
wood case are 1962. While the metel over cover that is stenciled is = 1951.
