Are there any of us who include notes IN THE MACHINE or radio about it’s provenance, history, or other interesting tale?

It appears that with teletype machines, it was common to put diagrams or the like under the machine, so someone coming along later to work on the thing would have the information needed to keep the thing running.

Maybe this thread will give some of us impetus to add some notes, , schematics or whatever IN our machines or radios to help later owners.
