I can never remember which email lists accept images and which do not. 
My copy of Greenkeys messages that I have sent always get caught in my 
Earthlink Webmail Spamblocker, even though I tell it that they are OK. 
So I never received the message with the embedded picture in my 
Thunderbird mail.

After I sent the embedded picture, I  wondered if it went through. I 
checked my Webmail Spam folder and the message was there, but no image. 
So I sent it again as an attachment.

Maybe the embedded pictures come through on some systems and not others. 
(Especially if you have "receive messages in plain text only" selected 
in your mail options.)      I guess sending as an attachment is the most 
reliable.
