Steve, Don, and all,

I’ve got a few feet of paper with nothing but my CQ’s. I also have made only one contact (100 watts). The Reverse Beacon Network shows me being heard by a few skimmers both east and west, and I see a quite a few other stations calling CQ, but only a few show up on my Flex 6400M panadapter that I’m using as my monitor, almost all too weak to copy.

An interesting thing though: Even though I could not even hear the signal (reading S0 on the s-meter) of my one QSO, my HAL ST-8000 did quite a fine job of decoding it. 

Well, we’ve got a few more hours.
