[GreenKeys] Selector magnet question

John,

I've even seen semiconducting cold solider joints.(sadly a short lived
phenomena)

I'd say you are measuring resistance through the burned wire enamel where
the coil burned out, probably due to a mechanical break and subsequent arc,
given the 120V nature of the signal. Replace it for restored operation, and
then do an autopsy and let us know what you find.

Subject: [GreenKeys] Selector magnet question

How can one of the two coils measure 1480 ohms and the other the nominal
135 ohms?

I can image a case of it being open, or shorted, but 1480 makes no sense
to this old head.

Strange thing is I've been copying ITTY off an on as I'm testing various
parts of my set up.
