Q: Stunt Box switch for BELL
I have recently taken my first plunge into Stunt-Boxing. I added a BELL
switch to a typing unit. Something I read made me think it should have a
latching function lever, so that's what I put in. But I think I made a
mistake and it should be non-latching. because my BELL switch stays ON
until the next character. Ahh, it looks like the stripper blade goes down
first before going up.
Do I have that right?

If so maybe I can probably just replace the function latch with a spring
plate. Is it possible to do that without pulling out the stripper blade?
Getting the end plates back on drove me batty,

Man, those Teletype engineers were fiendishly clever lads. And my hat is
off to all of you who have just jumped in and think nothing of adding
SELCAL or whatever to your stuntbox. You must have 4 hands and X-ray
vision..........
