There are a number of old Allied and other catalogs at
American Broadcast History. Perhaps one would have what you are
looking for.
A note about glass cleaners: traditional windex is mostly
diluted ammonium hydroxide with alcohol, the "streak free" glass
cleaners have butyl alcohol in them. Both will attack some
plastics but generally old type Windex is safer. Do not use
either on cellulose acetate or nitrate (celluoid).
I have used rubber treatment including belt dressing on
typewriter platens. They will get rid of gloss but don't really
restore the rubber. If its cracked or lumpy the dressing does not
affect it. All of these products small awful and should be used
outdoors.
