[GreenKeys] Typing about ITTY

Greetings Greenkeys!

First off, I am a consumer of ITTY daily. I tried going to one of those 
meetings where you sit in folding chairs and when it's your turn you say 
"Hi I'm John, and I haven't had a Baudot for over a week..." and they 
all clap and encourage you...  but no, I need deedle-deedle, 
clackclackclack  ding zzzzumph...


I have set up ITTY and teletypes for two folks already, so more iron 
will be used and not hit the dumpster.


I too, if asked, would like to see several ITTY channels with more 
specific content - a WX channel - a sports channel - propagation, solar 
reports, DX info - etc etc.   All autostart so the machine waits 
silently for Da Nooz.


I would like to see a dedicated "ITTY Engine" that took WiFi in one side 
and 60/20 mA loop out the other, with a minimal (touch)screen to allow 
selection of the ITTY channel desired and also some basic operational 
info -


I would certainly like to have a bit more traffic on the autostart 
channel - tho not too much, lest it become a competitor to the main 
feed...   ;}   That being said, have I contributed anything to 
Autostart?  Um, no I haven't.  Bad John! Bad!


I would certainly support these endeavors with my meagre wallet - I've 
not much real 'expertise' to offer otherwise - save that Teletype 
machines have been part of this incarnation since late 1966 - my first 
Model 14 - which was a gummed-paper-tape device - it came with many 
rolls of gummed tape - our house had a swamp cooler - oops...


Okay that's my 200 millidollars.
