What would be a different solution?

I'm working towards a Raspberry Pi listening to ITTY and driving a real
Teletype. I'll put a time schedule on it for perhaps 3 different hour
slices. Manual over ride to testing machines that are being worked on
or to impress visitors .

Ich habe dreimal abgeschnitten uns jetzt zu kurtz. (I cut it off 3 times
and it's still too short.)
