[GreenKeys] Mod 28 newby question - typing unit removal?

While I have not tried it, Nick England brought a 20 to me yesterday and
explained a few things.

To remove the typing unit he showed me how to take off a bar between the
printer and keyboard, then there is only 4 screws to remove and two
connectors and the whole unit pulls out. You can also take out some other
screws and the typing unit will tilt forward so you can work on it.

It probably is not that complicated, but you just need to see it one time.

So ok, I've had many 14s, 15s, 19s - can take 'em apart, put 'em back
together, etc etc.

But, however, comma:

I've looked through as much of the basic Mod 28 info as I can find, but
it's still not completely clear to me just how one gets the typing unit
/ keyboard assy out of the cabinet and onto the bench for further work,
such as counting gearteeth, etc. ..

It's in the standard KSR pedestal cabinet, model escapes me but I was
just looking at that in a manual last night. No LESU in the back, just
blank covers, all electronics in the pedestal.

In the immortal words of ALF the alien: "Why must you needlessly
complicate EVERYTHING???"
