[GreenKeys] More cleaning up!

Hi guys. Me again.

It seems to me that in the past month or so, someone was talking about crystals. I found a
flock of them in the garage this afternoon.

In getting a few things together to take to a swap in the morning, I ran across a medium size
box of CRYSTALS . There are at least three different types of holders, but more could be
lurking in envelopes and bags. I have quite a number of these three types (size and shape):

The only holder type I can identify is the pair in the center. They are the old, venerable
FT-243 type. They can be taken apart and the innards dabbled with for those who know how.

The larger ones on the right can be taken apart but it is a bit more work. On either
side of the pins there is a screw head buried under some kind of sealant. I am guessing
that this could be scraped out and then a screw head of some kind would show. (Guesswork!)

The ones on the left might be classified as HC-6U but that is just something I pulled out
of my head. There is or was such a designation (or something very close).

I do not have a count of anything.

I am willing to sell them to someone who knows how to count. I will pack the entire
batch up in a large USPS Flat Rate Box and ship it to whomever speaks up. This is not a
FTGH situation. I want postage and 2 cents per crystal. This means that if there are
500 crystals, and I think that is a high guess, one would pay $10.00 plus about $16.50
shipping. (The exact amount will show prominently on the box.)

Someone could spend a number of evenings when there is nothing worthwhile on TV and
do a sort and count. I will accept the count of whomever takes them. And, I'm not in
a big hurry to be paid. A month or two would be fine.

I have two more photos to show. One is a distance photo of the box, and the other is a
close up photo of the contents.

I think this box is one designed to hold 10 reams of standard office paper, but I could be wrong.
There is a lot of 'waste space' in there and I will get a lot, or hopefully everything into a
Large USPS Flat Rate Box.

This may not be the deal of the century, but for someone who may need crystals and is willing to do a
bit of work, it might be just right.

Anything that won't fit into a Large Flat Rate Box will be shipped in a small Flat Rate box, at my
expense. (That is around $8.00) So, as you can see this is not a money maker. I've been to a few
swaps where someone had a great inventory of crystals, all identified by frequency, etc, and was
asking $1.00 and $2.00 each. This is just a lot of work for someone and there might be a few items
in there that are useful to you or the buyer, and who knows who else?

I don't have a clue as to whether any of these could 'multiply' up to 6 or 2 Meters. I do doubt, though,
as to whether any are actually IN any of our Ham Bands, but I have not gone through them.

Envelopes may contain two to five items. Plastic bags are not clear here, but they hold a lot of
items each.

Anyone interested please respond off list.

Now, stop laughing at me!
