Hi all!

My goal, starting a few decades ago, is to preserve mechanical data
communication equipment and its technology history - mission accomplished! I
still take in strays. With obvious ties to the family company. I am a member
of the last generation to know my great grandfather E.E. Kleinschmidt.

Some of my collection has probably just arrived at the AWA museum. Duncan
Brown and team has a truckload of things to be put on public display and
some to eventually demonstrate. I am thrilled that the next chapter in the
preservation process is underway. Many thanks to AWA volunteers: Duncan,
Nancy, Jim, Felica and Joe. We had a packing and hauling party in my garage
this past Sunday and Monday. Fortunately, the literal heavy lifting of
equipment from the basement was completed a week ago.

But wait there is more!! And quite a bit of it. AWA only took what they did
not already have in their museum.

This is in no way a money making enterprise. We made road trips hundreds of
miles to pick up unique pieces over the years. I am looking for reasonable
offers, realizing that shipping is a major cost. Please take a look at the
list and pictures link below.

Here is my top of mind list:

Have a bunch of Kleinschmidt gear. Who would have thought? Hams really
horded all this old stuff brand independent.

Kleinschmidt: TT-98 / model 150 family page printers, TT-76 / Model 120 tape
perforator readers, Other KL desk top tape gear. I small central office
reperforator. Perforator /readers that go in combination with page printer
desk set AN/ xxx 25. Also parts machines and more.

Teletype model 26 with table

Teletype multiplex telegraph tape machine in mahogany cabinet - now sporting
custom red paint.

WU Underwood typewriter based printer

Solenoid operated WU machine - rough shape

Bunch of Model 14 & WU 2B tape machines, one table that holds 2 machines.

M15 era tape machines. Believe the smallish perforators are referred to as
"Iron horse" - one with table. At least 2 copy paper boxes of manuals for
same.

M33 manuals - Vol 2 for sure

Brunell tape reader

Great Northern Telegraph variable speed motor

Test equipment, interface boxes.

Paper tape, Printer paper

Creed: ASR and model 75? KSR

More.

Here is a link to pictures of much of the equipment:

Items not pictured are: Table & a 3 or 4 perforator readers for AN/xxx25,
TT-98 table and some others.

Disclaimers

May have errors in details. Going by my memory with its ever increasing
symptoms of frame erasure and high bit error rate.

A few items in group pictures are already gone.

Thanks for looking!

Tom
