This actually isn't about linking to non-https sites per se, since that wouldn't trigger these warnings; it's about the non-https images and iframes you're using.

I've attached a screenshot of what I see in a developer console when I visit w6iwi.org to show exactly what is causing my browser  (Firefox 66.0.3, OS X 10.12.6) to complain.
