I have a small amount of experience with the 35 machines.

About 30+ years ago I did own a 35KSR.  I never did much with it and 
eventually got rid of it.

Back in about 1967 the University of Michigan was installing an IBM 
360/67 in the computing center.  This machine had time sharing 
capabilities, a big deal back then.  They used 35KSR and 35ASR machines 
for remote dial up access.

Most of the video is a close-up of the paper with printing, but at about 
the 3:00 minute mark you can see most of the machine.
