Will check it out! The autoprint thing was definitely a last-minute hack.
Iirc detecting a break is just more than a character time passing without
correct framing (ie, start bit, 5 1/0 bit times, stop bit) in the receive
state machine but it's been a while. Might just be a matter of something
not getting reset correctly after the autoprint.
