[GreenKeys] Inside a REC-30 rectifier

The REC-30 I have uses 323B tubes and then schematic indicates a 323A can be used, although I’d suspect one shouldn’t mismatch them.

I have three 8008 mercury rectifiers (and sockets) I will give to anyone who can USE them, for the postage. The ones pictured are probably 866's or 816's. Brings back memories from >50 years ago! Loved the blinking blue light with CW.

I have a rec-30 I was going to throw out because it's so heavy but seeing some of these YouTube's of it running I've got to bring it home now and clean it up.

Here's the inside of mine in operation - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxy2Ifo8Xx0
It's in the back of the base of my Model 19, though I don't power it up very often.
Instead I have a solid-state 120VDC power supply taking its place, so as not to put
undue strain on the ancient REC30. I'm just typing all this text because the mailing
list appears to reject my messages containing links, and I'm hoping it accepts them
if they have lots of text too.

Sincerely,
eric
