[GreenKeys] Printing Selectric

If I remember correctly, and at this age the chances are getting slimmer and slimmer, there used to be an aftermarket add-on that would convert a “proportional” Selectric typewriter into a printer.  It was a little gray painted (homemade) box that interfaced electrically to several points inside the typewriter.  The interface to the computer was indeed RS-232.  I thought that the box did some sort of ASCII-to-EBCDIC conversion.  Here’s an interesting article on the topic:
https://www.eetimes.com/author.asp?section_id=216&doc_id=1285465   A cursory search of the internet did not produce any hits on this piece of hardware.  It used to be advertised in the computer hobby magazines around the late 1970’s and early 1980’s.  Then it disappearted.
