Dear Greenkeyers:

Since its inception, created by George W7TTY, The unofficial name of the service has been "ITTY News". It is not "ITTY Comedy Central".

 

While it is true that there is a lot of doom and gloom in the world today, I do try to stay away from repeating stories. For instance - the tragedy in Pittsburgh has no fewer than 8 different accounts or slants on the story...everything from what the president is doing to what people had for breakfast that morning.

 

I do try to edit out those that are not relevant or what I see as unimportant. I also try to add a little humor once in a while.

 

As you may also notice that our prolific contributor Wayne WB0CTE Letourneau 

sends in the comedy relief which I am sure you must notice - and it is welcomed and appreciated!

 

Also as you may have noticed I am apolitical in the sending of material and I have no "agenda".

 

While the world is seeming to be falling apart, this has been going on since Caine and Able...and probably  long time before them, there is no way to whitewash what is happening in the world today.

 

I have relied on the Associated Press for my material for the past couple of months and will search for a different source...BUT - no promises.

I’ve tuned into the ITTY stream every now and again recently. Just curious - to whoever is in charge of it: Is there any way to make it less political ;o ??? Things are so toxic nowadays, I’ve already had my fill by the morning’s end (sp?). Plus, I don’t think the U.S. has been this divided since around the time those 10 bells rang back in the ’60… so I’m not looking for anymore in my cup, really - and really hard to escape it also when seeing it hammer across the teletype :o . …anywho, back to my original question: Is possible - please - any way to lighten up the stream, perhaps ;o ?… maybe throw in some science or otherwise ;o ? I don’t know, just my two cents :( …..
