Hi Maurie,

Thank you very much for your kind response. My main concern is to load
the tape. It must be punched to advance and the feed mechanism is
positioned after the punch mechanism. A blank tape will not be driven in
the absence of perforations at this level and can not be caught by hand
because of the transparent tape guide.

I think I understood the process: the long screw that holds the guide
must be unscrewed to extract it. The band can then be punched and pulled
by hand. The 'comb' key may need to be used for this punch.

Whatever, it is a beautiful machine that works perfectly after minimal
restoration.
