Hey Nick,
Sorry the Dovetron is giving you problems figuring out how to get it to TX when you start typing. But now I don't feel as bad as I was before you post!
Last year at about this time I was banging my head against the wall trying to accomplish the same thing tying to get ready for the ARRL RTTY contest in January but never got it working. Not only did I wind up with a bruised and bloodied forehead, but I ruined the wall as well.
This year, beginning this weekend, I'm going to try to get a ST-6 connected up to try to participate in the Greenkeys night on the 1st of January. If you ever figure the Dovetron out let me know, as still like to get it connected.
Maybe we could try a RTTY QSO while we are tuning things up!
RYRYRY & 73,
Steve G./N4TTY
